Dear Sir,

I take my pen a few moments to inform you of our health which is good at present and hope these few lines will find you enjoying the same blessing yours of the 8 inst came duly at hand which informed me of your general good health.

There was no choice of Representative in this District last Monday and we have another trial in three weeks the vote stood as follows: Dem 181, Whig 121, Liberty 91 which is a gain of one third in the Liberty vote at the next trial there will be over one hundred. How does it stand with you in Bradford?

Mother Dean has broken up keeping house and is boarding with us. I think that you can guess the WPm & [?] was married two weeks ago tomorrow Sunday to Miss Betsy Stubbs of this town as also Mr. John Turner and Miss Sarah Doune and have gone to Boston to live.

I don’t know that I have anything more to write excepting that we should like a visit from you.

I remain yours,
Cyrus Adams
